EXPORT OF BANGKA BELITUNG ISLANDS
MONTH SEPTEMBER 2009 REACHES US $ 116.23 MILLION


  •      In September 2009 the export value of Bangka Belitung Islands based on Free On Board (FOB) price reached US $ 116.23 million, with tin exports of US $ 94.54 million and non tin of US $ 21.69 million.
  •      In the period of January - September 2009, tin exports to Singapore reached the largest number of US $ 675.95 million or 91.00 percent of total tin exports, followed by Malaysia US $ 40.20 million (5.41
  •     Percent), China US $ 11.32 million (1.67 percent), Japan US $ 5.01 million (0.74 percent) and Republic of Korea US $ 4.55 million (0.67 percent). The contribution of these five countries reached 99.23 percent of the total tin exports of Bangka Belitung Islands Province. During the period of January-September 2009, all non-tin exported goods category experienced a decline in export value compared to the same period of the previous year except the category of fishery products and processed products (HS 03). Increased by 6.90 percent from US $ 5.58 million to US $ 5.97 million. The five main categories of export commodities of Bangka Belitung Islands exported were coffee, tea and spices (65.88 percent), followed by metal ore (36.09 percent), rubber and rubber goods (36.38 percent), and animal or vegetable oils and fats (20.93 percent) .
  •      Non-tin exports to Australia in cumulative January-September 2009 reached the largest number of US $ 55.85 million or contributed the most with 25.40 percent of total non-tin exports followed by Thailand US $ 37.43 million (17.02 percent) , Malaysia amounted to US $ 35.51 million (16.15 percent), China US $ 31.17 million (14.18 percent), India US $ 19.18 million (8.72 percent), Vietnam US $ 16.15 Million (7.35 percent), Singapore US $ 12.06 million (5.49 percent) and UAE US $ 3.08 million (1.40 percent). The contribution of the eight countries reached 95.72 percent of total non-tin exports of Bangka Belitung Islands Province.



IMPOR KORULAUAN BANGKA BELITUNG
MONTH SEPTEMBER 2009 REACHES US $ 9.70 MILLION


  •      In September 2009 the import value of Bangka Belitung Islands Province reached US $ 9.70 million, up 95.16 percent compared to August 2009 which amounted to US $ 4.97 million. The increase in import value was caused by the increase of non-oil and gas imports by 198.11 percent from US $ 3.00 million to US $ 8.96 thousand.
  •      In terms of contribution to total non-oil and gas imports from January to September 2009, the sea transport category (HS 89) contributed the most with US $ 12.14 million (43.77 percent), followed by boiler and machine (HS 84) of US $ 9.50 million (34.25 percent), iron and steel (HS 72) of US $ 2.28 million (8.22 percent), iron and steel goods (HS 73) of US $ 1.50 million (5.42 percent), machinery / electrical equipment (HS 85) of US $ 0.99 million (3.58 percent) and rubber and rubber goods (HS 40) of US $ 0.55 million (1, 99 percent). The contribution of the six categories of non-oil and gas goods reached 97.24 percent of total non-oil and gas imports.
  •      In the period from January to September 2009, the five largest suppliers of imported goods are Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore and China. The imports of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province from Malaysia during January-September 2009 reached US $ 11.27 million or 30.67 percent of total imports, followed by Thailand with US $ 10.13 million (27.57 percent), Vietnam US $ 5 , 54 million (15.07 percent), Singapore US $ 5.04 million (13.71 percent) and China US $ 2.99 million (8.13 percent). The contribution of these five countries reached 95.15 percent of the total imports of Bangka Belitung Islands Province.
