Abstract

In June 2016 Pangkalpinang deflation of 2.14 percent in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) amounted to 127.07 after Mei 2016 also experienced a deflation of 0.11 percent with CPI of 124.41.

Deflation occurs due to a increase in the price indicated by the rise in the index in groups namely foodstuffs expenditure by 6.11 per cent; the processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco by 0.80 per cent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel by 0.19 percent; clothing group of 3.78 percent; health by 0.92 percent; education, recreation and sport 0.05 percent as well as transportation, communication and financial services by 1.06 percent.

The inflation rate in June 2016 calendar year is inflation of 2.6 per cent and the inflation rate year-on-year (June 2016 to June 2015) amounted to 7.78 percent.

The core components in June 2016 contributed a inflation of 0.71 percent as well as components that are regulated by government price by 0.19 percent. While the volatile components of inflation of 1.24 percent.
