Abstract

Number of poor (people living below the poverty line) in Bangka Belitung Province in September 2015 period amounted to 66.62 thousand people (4.83%). Compared with the poor in March 2015 amounted to 74.09 thousand (5.40%), means that the number of poor fell as much as 7.47 thousand people or a percentage drop of 0.57 percent compared to March period of 2015. During the period March 2015-September 2015, the number of poor people in rural areas fell as much as 1.3 thousand people, while in urban areas decreased by as much as 6.17 thousand people. During March 2015-September 2015 poverty line rose by 8.45 percent from Rp. 488 701, -per capita per month in March 2015 to Rp. 529 979, - per capita per month in September 2015. In September 2015 in the role of urban food poverty line by 70.08 percent or Rp. 362 214, - per capita per month and rural areas amounted to 74.88 percent or Rp. 406 405, - per capita per month. Overall the food poverty line role in Bangka Belitung Province of 72.58 percent or Rp. 384 643, - per capita per month. In the period March 2015-September 2015 Poverty Depth Index showing an upward trend. Poverty depth index rose from 0.671 in March 2015 to 0.897 in September 2015. The increase in the value of this index indicates that the average expenditure of the poor in 2015 tends to stay away from the poverty line compared to the period of September 2015. In line with the index Depth of Poverty, Poverty Severity Index September 2015 also increased compared to March 2015 period, namely from 0.137 into 0.219 in the period of September 2015. This figure indicates that the unevenness of the average expenditure of poor people increased from March 2015 until September 2015.
