General Explanation

Consumer Tendency Index (CTI) is an indicator of current economic development generated by the Central Bureau of Statistics Consumer Tendency Survey (STK). ITK is an index measuring the level of consumer perceptions of economic conditions of households in quarter run and the forecast for the next quarter.

Since Quarter II-2015 method of calculating STK experienced improvements in minor scale on the questionnaire and methods of computation. Coverage sample areas STK, remains held on Belitung, Pangkalpinang and East Belitung province. In the implementation of the STK-2015 third quarter, the number of samples were enumerated as many as 170 households, with a response rate of 94 percent.

Economic Conditions Consumer-2015 Third Quarter

Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) Bangka Belitung in Quarter III-2015 amounted to 105.54, which means that in the third quarter-2015 according to consumer perceptions of economic conditions increased compared to the second quarter-2015. Increased consumer economic conditions primarily driven by an increase in household income (index value of 108.81) and influential inflation to total household consumption (index value of 98.52).

Economic Outlook Consumer-2015 Fourth Quarter

ITK value Bangka Belitung Islands in Quarter IV-2015 is estimated at 97.53, meaning that according to consumer perceptions of economic conditions is expected to be not improved. This is seen in pessimism estimate household income is at 98.49 levels (under 100) and the impact on the planned purchase of durable goods, recreational and party / celebration with a value of 95.83 (also below 100) which indicates the economic downturn which is still ongoing.
