Abstract

PRODUCTION RICE, CORN AND PEANUT

(Forecast Figures II 2015)

A. RICE

Rice production in Bangka Belitung 2015 (Forecast Figures II) is estimated at 28 103 tons of dry unhusked rice (GKG), an increase of 4,622 tonnes of paddy (19.68 percent) compared to 2014. Fixed figures increase in production due to increased harvested area of 2,597 hectares (26.12 percent).
The increase in rice production amounted to 4,622 tonnes (19.68 percent) in 2015 occurred in subround January-April amounted to 1,234 tons (7.67 percent), subround May June July August amounted to 1,560 tons (28.92 percent), and subround September-December rice production an increase of 1,828 tonnes (91.86 percent) compared to the same subround previous year (year on year).

B. CORN

Maize production in the province of Kep. Bangka Belitung 2015 (Forecast Figures II) is estimated at 731 tons of dry seed, rose by 10 tons (1.39 percent) compared to 2014. Fixed figures increase in production is expected due to an increase in productivity by 4.19 quintal per hectare (12.44 percent).
The increase in maize production by 10 tons (1.39 percent) in 2015 occurred in the subround January to April and May to August subround respectively by 21 tons (8.79 percent) and 54 tonnes (18.95 percent), while the decline production occurs in subround September to December amounted to 65 tons (32.99 percent) compared with production in the same subround 2014 (year on year).

C. PEANUT

Peanut production in 2015 (Forecast Figures II) is estimated at 151 tons of dry beans or a decrease of 73 tons (32.59 percent) compared to 2014. Fixed figures decline in production due to a decrease in harvested area of 55 hectares (26.70 percent) and a decrease in productivity by 0.87 quintal per hectare (8.00 percent).
Peanut production decline in 2015 as much as 73 tons occurred in every subround namely subround January to April fell by 31 tonnes (31.63 percent), subround May to August fell by 22 tonnes (26.19 percent) and subround September to December fell by 20 tons (47.62 percent) compared with production in the same subround 2014 (year on year).

In 2021, the rice harvested area is estimated at 18.75 thousand hectares with a production of 69.72 thousand tons of GKG. If converted into rice, rice production in 2021 is estimated to reach 41.11 thousand tons.

Rice production is Estimated Up to 18.78% in 2015

In 2024, the rice harvest area reached 18,203 hectares with rice production of 77,490 tons of milled dry grain (MDG). If converted into rice for food consumption by the population, the rice production in 2024 will reach 45,931 tons.

In 2020, the rice harvested area will be 17,841 hectares with a production of 57,324 tons of GKG. If converted into rice, rice production in 2020 will reach 33,803 tons.
