Abstract

A. DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM

The number of guests staying at the five-star hotel in Bangka Belitung Province in September 2015 there were 23 842 people. This number decreased 4.53 percent compared to the previous month the number of guests that reached 24,974 people (Table 1). Foreign guests recorded menurunsebanyak 32 (10.85 percent) and domestic guests as many as 1,100 people (4.46 percent).
Room occupancy rate (TPK) star in Bangka Belitung Province in September 2015 amounted to 48.30 percent (Table 2), up 7.15 points compared to the value of TPK in August 2015 that only amounted to 41.15 per cent.
TPK highest five-star hotel by district / city in September 2015 is in Pangkalpinang (76.69 percent), followed by Central Bangka regency (50.23 percent) and the Pacific Islands (40.04 percent). While TPK Bangka only 19.76 percent.
In September 2015, the average length of stay of the total at the five-star hotel for 2.19 days, an increase when compared to the previous month. During September, the average length of stay (2.90 days) over a length of 0.72 days compared to Indonesia (2.18 days).

B. DEVELOPMENT OF TRANSPORTATION

The amount of inter-island passenger sea transport departing from Bangka Belitung Province in September 2015, there were 13.45 thousand, down 3.01 percent from the previous month which stood at 13.87 thousand people. When compared with the same period in the previous year (January-September 2014), the number of passengers fell by 44.69 percent.
The amount of inter-island sea passenger transport which came in Bangka Belitung Province in September 2015, there were 13.15 thousand, a decrease of 16.70 percent compared to 15.79 thousand people in August 2015. When compared to the same period last year, the current incoming passengers also decreased by 32.57 percent.
The volume of goods loaded at the port in September 2015 reached 486.92 thousand tons, an increase of 27.58 percent when compared to the previous month amounted to 381.66 thousand tons. When compared with the same period the previous year increased by 13.41 percent.
The volume of goods unloaded during the month of September 2015 amounted to 153.37 thousand tons, down 2.12 percent compared to the previous month to reach 156.69 thousand tons. When compared with the same period the previous year (January to September 2014) a decline of 20.16 percent.
Number of air passengers departing from Bangka Belitung Islands in September 2015 rose 2.00 percent to 103.65 thousand from the previous just as much as 101.62 thousand people.
The number of passengers who come to Bangka Belitung using air transport in September 2015 amounted to 96.46 thousand passengers, down by 11.66 percent compared to the previous month to reach 109.19 thousand.
