Abstract

In September 2015 Pangkalpinang City experienced inflation of 0.84 percent in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) amounted to 122.38 after earlier in August 2014 also experienced lower inflation but that is 0.58 percent with CPI of 122.35.
Inflation occurs because of the increase in the price indicated by the rise in the index in five groups namely foodstuffs spending by 1.91 percent; food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco by 0.64 percent; clothing group by 1.50 percent; health group by 1.71 percent; as well as education, recreation and sports at 3.92 percent. While the expenditure deflation is housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel 0.43 percent as well as transport, communication and financial services 0.39 percent.
The inflation rate September 2015 calendar year is inflation of 4.33 per cent and the inflation rate year-on-year (September 2015 to September 2014) amounted to 7.46 percent.
The core components in September 2015 contributed an inflation of 0.33 per cent as well as volatile components of 0.54 percent. While the component whose price is set by the government for the deflation of 0.03 percent.
