Abstract

The number of guests staying at the five-star hotel in Bangka Belitung Province in July 2015, there were 22 716 people. This number increased by 5.11 percent compared to the previous month the number of guests that only 21 611 people (Table 1). Increasing the number of guests occurs in both both foreign and domestic guests. Foreign guests recorded an increase of 78 people (41.27 percent) and domestic guests as many as 1,027 people (4.79 percent).
Room occupancy rate (TPK) star in Bangka Belitung Province in July 2015 amounted to 36.56 percent, down 9.24 points compared to the value of TPK in June 2015, which reached 45.80 percent.
TPK highest five-star hotel by district / city in July 2015 was in Belitung Regency (50.03 percent), followed by Central Bangka regency (38.83 percent) and Pangkalpinang (30.84 percent). While TPK Bangka only 17.94 percent.
In July 2015, the average length of stay of the total at the five-star hotel for 1.82 days, down when compared to the previous month. During July, the average length of stay (2.07 days) of 0.25 days longer than the Indonesian guests (1.82 days).
