Abstract

A. Development of Tourism

Number of guests staying at the five-star hotel in Bangka Belitung Province in June 2015 there were 21 611 people. This amount decreased by 6.48 percent compared to the previous month the number of guests that as many as 23 109 people (Table 1). A decrease in the number of guests happen to foreign and domestic guests. Foreign guests recorded decreased by 195 people (50.78 percent) and domestic guests as many as 1,303 people (5.73 percent).
Room occupancy rate (TPK) star in Bangka Belitung Province in June 2015 amounted to 45.80 percent, up 2.70 points compared to May 2015 the value of TPK amounting to 43.10 percent.
TPK highest five-star hotel by district / city in June 2015 is in Pangkalpinang (58.38 percent), followed by the District of Belitung (54.27 percent) and Central Bangka regency (44.29 percent). While TPK Bangka only 17.62 percent.
On June 2015, the average length of stay of the total at the five-star hotel for 2.07 days, an increase when compared to the previous month. During the month of June, the average length of stay (1.90 days) shorter than the 0.17 days of Indonesian guests (2.07 days).

B. Development of Transportation

The number of inter-island passenger sea transport departing from Bangka Belitung province in June 2015, there were 18.04 thousand, up 3.56 percent over the previous month which stood at 17.42 thousand people. When compared with the same period in the previous year (January - June 2014), the number of passengers fell by 39.15 percent.
Total passenger sea transport between islands that come in Bangka Belitung Province in June 2015, there were 16.79 thousand, down by 12.23 percent compared to 19.13 thousand people in May 2015. When compared to the same period last year, the passenger flow who came also decreased by 25.19 percent.
The volume of goods loaded at the port in June 2015 reached 552.92 thousand tons, down by 3.63 percent when compared to the previous month were recorded 573.72 thousand tons. When compared with the same period the previous year an increase of up to 13.83 percent.
The volume of goods unloaded during the month of June 2015 amounted to 168.88 thousand tons, up 32.61 percent compared to the previous month amounted to 127.35 thousand tons. When compared with the same period the previous year (January to June 2014) a decline of 22.69 percent.
The number of air passengers departing from Bangka Belitung in June 2015 rose 10.26 percent to 95.01 thousand people than ever before are as many as 86.17 thousand people.
The number of passengers who come to Bangka Belitung using air transport in June 2015 amounted to 88.83 thousand passengers, an increase of 10.15 percent compared to the previous month to reach 80.64 thousand people.
