National Instructor Training on Strategic Commodity Survey (VKomstrat) 2025

The Bangka Belitung Islands Provincial BPS participated in the national instructor training for the 2025 Palm Oil Strategic Commodity Survey (VKomstrat), organized by BPS RI. The training was held over two effective days, May 15 and 16, 2025.

This Strategic Commodity Survey is highly significant as palm oil is one of the main commodities widely cultivated by farmers in Indonesia. According to the 2023 Agricultural Survey results, palm oil ranks among the top ten agricultural commodities most extensively farmed by Indonesian farmers.

The data produced by this survey will serve as a fundamental basis for development policies in the plantation sector and support more accurate analysis and planning at both national and regional levels.
