National Training on Updating the Geospatial Framework and Wilkerstat Content for the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026)

The training, inaugurated by Ida Ambar Fitriyani from the PMSS Directorate, was attended by Wilkerstat SE2026 data processing officers, BPS RI subject matter experts, and BPS Training Center staff. The updating of the geospatial framework and Wilkerstat content for 2025 is a critical preparatory step for the 2026 Economic Census.

The main objective of this update is to refresh both SLS (Sample Labeling System) and Non-SLS data to produce a standardized, up-to-date, and reliable Wilkerstat framework. The updating process is divided into two key phases: the field phase, which involves collecting the latest data, and the processing phase, which aims to produce high-quality outputs.

This training also addressed a structured implementation schedule and emphasized inter-team coordination to ensure a smooth updating process. Consequently, the resulting Wilkerstat framework is expected to optimally support the 2026 Economic Census by providing accurate and comprehensive foundational data for national economic analysis.
