Technical Training on Statistical Business Processes

This activity was organized by the BPS Provincial Office of Bangka Belitung Islands as part of a standardized framework aimed at producing high-quality statistical data through systematic and structured stages. The framework follows the Generic Statistical Business Process Model (GSBPM), which encompasses all phases from planning, data collection, processing, and analysis to data dissemination.

The training provided participants with an in-depth understanding of how to apply GSBPM across various statistical activities, including censuses, surveys, and the compilation of administrative records. It also served as a platform for knowledge sharing and the exchange of best practices among work units to ensure the consistent implementation of statistical business processes.

With a strong grasp of each stage within the statistical business process, statistical agencies are expected to enhance accountability, efficiency, and the overall quality of the data they produce. Regular evaluation and monitoring of GSBPM implementation are also essential for strengthening institutional capacity and building a more integrated and internationally aligned national statistical system.
