Socialization of Survey Results for Refinement of the 2023 IHPB Weighing Diagram

BPS updated the base year of the Wholesale Price Index (IHPB) from 2018 to 2023 to reflect changes in consumption patterns and market dynamics.
BPS Deputy, Pudji Ismartini, explained that this update includes sample coverage, business sector classification, and the number of commodities which has now reached 781 types. The results of the 2023 IHPB Weighing Diagram Improvement Survey (SPDT) will be socialized to ministries/agencies and BPS officials throughout Indonesia.
IHPB January 2025 with a new base year will be released on February 3 2025.
