The Head of the Price Statistics Team, Deby Andayani, was a guest speaker at the Mozaik Indonesia event themed “The Role of BPS in Inflation Monitoring”.
The role of BPS begins with the process of collecting price data that is routinely processed into inflation figures. This data helps local governments in formulating appropriate policies to maintain economic stability. He also encouraged respondents to remain willing to accept the arrival of BPS officers and provide actual answers so that data quality is maintained.
