As a member of the G20 and having a large economic share of the world economy, Indonesia must be active in determining macroeconomic statistics. Therefore, in determining changes to the base year of GDP/GRDP, BPS plans to use the CVM (Chain Volume Measures) method, which uses the base year price that is updated annually.
  • It is expected that estimates of GDP, GRDP, and economic growth will be more up-to-date, accurate, reliable, and free of subjectivity.
