BPS collaboration with the Babel TPID Team

As a follow-up to the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia at the 2022 National Coordination Meeting for Inflation Control which was held in a hybrid manner on August 18, 2022, in the afternoon, it was immediately followed up with a meeting of the Babylon Province TPID Team in the Pasir Padi Room at the Bangka Belitung Islands Governor's Office. The meeting was opened by the Acting Governor of the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands, Ridwan Djamaluddin, then continued with the delivery of data on the development of inflation by the leadership of the Bank Indonesia Representative for Bangka Belitung, Budi Widhihartanto and Hadi Suroso representing BPS for the Province of Bangka Belitung. On a Y0Y basis, the combined inflation rate of 2 cities in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province was in the 3rd highest rank after Jambi and West Sumatra, reaching 7.77%. For this reason, real follow-up from the government through the OPD is needed regarding how solutions will be taken, both in the short and long term so that the prices of strategic commodities that contribute to inflation can be controlled.
