Sectoral Statistics Development for OPD Planning Documents

Pangkalpinang - (28/04) BPS-Statistics of Bangka Belitung Islands Province conducted sectoral statistics guidance for several OPDs in the Provincial Government of Bangka Belitung Islands. This event aims to improve the quality of planning documents for OPDs in the Kep Babel. The Regional Development Planning and Research Agency as the organizer of the event expects integration between sectoral data and spatial data in the Babel Kep.

Also attending through a zoom meeting, the Secretariat of One Data of the National Development Planning Agency and representatives of the Geospatial Information Agency as resource persons in the field of planning and spatial data. BPS Prov Babel through the Dissemination and Statistical Services Section in the IPDS sector participated in the event directly at the Bangka City Hotel at 13.00 WIB. In front of OPD Prov Babel and Bappeda Regencies / Cities in Babylon, BPS Prov Babel conveyed the urgency of implementing sectoral statistics in the regions. BPS Prov Babel is also ready to guide according to SDI principles, namely data standards, metadata, interoperability and reference codes.

The event was closed by the Head of PPID Bappeda, Mr. Agung. He conveyed to all OPDs that the implementation of regional sectoral statistics is our common task. OPDs are encouraged to intervene in providing sectoral statistics and synergize with BPS as the supervisor of sectoral statistics.
