Sectoral Statistics Development at DJPb Babel

Pangkalpinang - (28/04) BPS-Statistics of Bangka Belitung Islands Province conducts sectoral statistics guidance at the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury, Bangka Belitung Islands Province (DJPb Babel). This activity is an implementation of Presidential Decree No. 39 of 2019 concerning One Indonesian Data with BPS as the sectoral statistics supervisory agency.

The event took place in the morning offline in the DJPb Babel office hall and online through a zoom meeting attended by employees in the DGT environment. BPS Babel Province is present through the Dissemination and Statistical Services Section in the IPDS field to provide training on techniques for survey preparation and processing of survey results. The material presented was aimed at fostering DGT Babel in the implementation of government budget surveys.

Participants in the room and at the zoom meeting were enthusiastic about this activity. Some questions even had to be postponed due to limited time. According to Mrs. Inge Yuliani, Head of Budget Planning I, coaching activities like this are very useful for DJPb Babel to improve the quality of the surveys they routinely conduct. The increased synergy between BPS Prov Babel and DJPb Babel is expected to be able to produce quality statistics, especially at the sectoral level.
