Tanjungpandan, Tuesday (10/12) "Realize Innovation, Strengthen Synergy, Joint Work #Tranding Indonesia", became the theme of organizing Regional Technical Meetings of BPS Provincial / Regency / City Leadership in Bangka Belitung Islands Province at BW Suite Hotel, Belitung followed by 89 people consisting of 39 Provincial BPS & 50 people from Regency / City BPS in Kep. Bangka Belitung.

The activity was officially opened directly by Deputy Regent Isyak Meirobie, in his speech grateful for the election of the Regency. Belitung is the place for this activity. Isyak stressed "The Power of Data is extraordinary, therefore data has an important role in development because all policies taken by the government must have a clear foundation and basis, namely accurate data. District Government. Belitung is also very supportive for the smooth running of the 2020 Population Census, this is in line with the District Government program. Belitung who wants to have accurate data as preliminary data for District Government planning to take policies in improving the welfare of the community through service programs to the wider community.

Besides that Head of BPS Kep. Province. Bangka Belitung Dwi Retno Wilujeng Wahyu Utami also said in his remarks that next year BPS will face a big job, namely the 2020 Population Census (SP2020). Unlike the previous population census, SP2020 will use population registration data from the Directorate General of Population and Civil Registration as the basis for conducting population censuses. This was taken by BPS to answer the challenges in realizing One Population Data in Indonesia, in line with the spirit of Presidential Regulation No.39 of 2019.

At the end of his speech Dwi Retno also said that SP2020 will be at two crucial points, namely during the Online Population Census (SPO) during February-March and during the implementation of the Population Census Interview (SPW) to encompass and record in full all communities that did not conduct SPO in the specified period.
