Hi # Friendship Data, Today BPS Prov Kep Babel held the release of Economic Growth and Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) Triw III -2017

The economy of the Bangka Belitung Islands The third quarter of 2017 grew by 3.69 percent, slower than the 3 rd Quarter-2016 (y-on-y). Field of Agriculture, Forestry and Fishery which became the second largest contributor to the economy of Kep Bangka Belitung experienced negative contraction / growth, especially in the commodity of oil palm crop and fishery. Viewed from the source of its growth, the field of business of Big and Retail Trade, and Repair of Cars and Motorcycles became the largest source of growth of 1.13 percent.
In terms of expenditure, Household Consumption is the highest source of growth of 2.42 percent.
Meanwhile, compared to the second quarter of 2017, the economy of Bangka Belitung Islands contracted by 0.11 percent (q-to-q). The highest growth contraction occurred in Processing Industry (4.12 percent), Government Administration 2.32 percent, Mining and Quarrying 1.13 percent. Processing Industry which is the largest contributor to the economy of Kep Bangka Belitung has decreased sharply especially in the production of tin and CPO.

From the consumer side seen from the Tendency Index of Consumer (ITK), ITK Triw III-2017 amounted to 103.60 decreased when compared to ITK Triw II-2017 which reached 108.25. This shows that consumers are still optimistic about the economic condition of Triw III, although their optimism level is not as high as in Quarter II-2017.
